My Kid Blake has been going to this camp since he was 5 and he is now 8. He has ADHA and level 1 autism. He gets board real quick and doesn't participate in activities or games much. However, he never comes home with any complaints from the staff saying he didn't listen or any of the normal complaints I get. They just let him roll in the sand and do what he is happy doing. For me this camp is a place where he is safe and lest him be himself.
Children have a different relationship with time than adults do. A week feels like a season. One counselor can become a legend. A Tuesday at the beach can somehow survive into adulthood with surprising clarity. Aloha Beach Camp seems to understand that. Yes, the logistics are excellent. The beaches, parks, and activities are wonderful. Bu... read more
This was my kiddo’s first year at Aloha and it will not be her last. This camp is pure wholesome California fun and the staff and owners (family owned) are kind and generous. Plu... read more
My 10 year-old boy (and his best friend) have been going to Aloha for three years. He’s more confident in the ocean and knows how to dive into waves, and I feel more comfortable watching him do that. Summer is not the same without aloha summer camp for us…
My kids LOVE Aloha Surf Camp! It's very organized and a great way to spend the summer days, playing in the water! I love the bus transportation from convenient locations - it helps because I can still get to work on time and know they are in good hands! Highly recommend!!
