I posted a previous review due to DANIELLE being completely unhelpful in resolving the issue that they caused during routine service. Well Danielle’s feelings got hurt so she cancelled my work order. As you can see from the replies to the MANY POOR REVIEWS, they are more interested in being blameless than actually helping their customers. Upon reading the reviews on Google, I was very hesitant on going through with Aloha. But this company does most of its work through American Home Shield (which is what we have) and the reviews are probably not seen by the public. I’m so glad I kept an open mind because we had Gino as our technician, and we couldn’t be more pleased. He explained all that was going on with our unit, answered our questions, and was very friendly! If we have any more issues going forward, I’ll definitely ask for Gino.
Aloha repaired my AC on two different occasions and I had a very positive experience with them. Apart from prompt scheduling by the office manager and updates on arrival, the lead technician Gino troubleshooted the system both times, promptly coordinated with AHS to order the parts, and followed up timely to fix the system. In one occasion, AHS initially dispatched another HVAC vendor who didn't identify the root cause properly but Gino could get to the bottom of it and worked with AHS to resolve the problem. AHS assigned them to my issue with A/C leaking condensate into emergency pan. First time they came by they tried cleaning the drain line. Promised it will fix the issue. It didn't. Second time they came they put extra tape on the bottom where the water was leaking. Promised it will fix the issue. It didn't. Third time they came, they billed me $400 because AHS wouldn't approve the work, but I thought, hey maybe they will fix the issue finally, they replaced the emergency pan due to rusting, put some putty around the ducts.
