I have just attended the minor injuries unit today. The service l received was exemplary from start to finish.From arriving around 11 l was on my way after 1.20 . Cleaned and dressed wounds and x ray. Brilliant service and staff Alex.Nixon Bamburgh
My elderly mum visited the Minor Injuries Unit today so that we could get someone to have a look at her poorly leg while we were in the area on a week's holiday. The whole time we were at the Unit, Mum was treated with extreme courtesy and kindness by Eleanor and Danielle and nothing was too much trouble for them. The staff at this hospital are a credit to the NHS. Thank you.
Needed to visit the MIU on a Sunday afternoon. On arrival I paid for the parking then entered the hospital. Was told that they had to close early (should be open until 8pm) and were unable to deal with the injury. Suggested that we drove 30 miles to be seen at Berwick-upon-Tweed. No refund of car park either.
