My husband and I had our wedding at the Almquist winery on April 27th 2024 and the venue and staff were so wonderful! There was a miscommunication and mix up with our day of coordinator and to be fair for what we paid for her and what we received was incredibly disappointing. The Almquist is such a gorgeous gem of a venue right in the heart of the lower Queen Anne neighborhood. Their bar and barrel room are both beautiful but my favorite part of the whole venue is their greenhouse. You can’t go wrong with any of it!
Simply put, Almquist left nothing to be desired! From the generous venue access time, easy load-in, helpful & accommodating staff, and beautiful details, Almquist easily earned my five stars. I highly recommend taking a tour and imagining the possibilities. Vendors, this is absolutely a venue you want to recommend to your couples!
I just attended the best wedding of my life at Almquist Winery on Sunday! Everything was beautifully done. The grounds are lovely, with shade trees and a water view. The bar service was excellent, and the strawberry mimosas were fantastic! Appetizers were delicious: raw oysters, burrata bruschetta, and ube doughnuts. They should make it much more clear that this is no longer a public access winery. The entrance says winery and the website says "winery minutes from downtown" but it's just not a place you can stop by to get a glass of wine. The lady walking out of the closed building told us it's just a wedding and events place now.
