My beloved mama passed away last night due to severe negligence by this facility. On 10/1 she was taken by ambulance to the ER after a dispatch nurse was called out to check on my mom’s bedsore. Upon her arrival she was in disbelief at how severe my mom’s bedsore was, she took pictures and called her Dr at Innovage. He said get to the ER immediately. I , after much research, placed myMother at ALH feeling much like you all had that my Mom would be cared for. I was wrong! After 4 trips to the ER in 2 weeks due to ALH staff being negligent. They employee teenagers and young adults with no background or training. The employees are Bullied by the owner Tim, as I was . My Mother, 92 year old very mobile woman, was brought to the shower .. Prior to Almost Like Home we had put my mom in a fancy expensive "memory care facility". It was horrible. They treated her like a caged animal. They would call us daily and tell us she was awful and they couldn't handle her. The minute we moved her to Almost Like Home her life changed around. She's participating in activities and going on walks. It's truly night and day difference. We haven't had a single problem with her there. Thank you SO much for being our light at the end of the tunnel.
