I called before I went and the pharmacist told me to bring my insurance card. So when I showed up to pick up my prescription I had my card ready and the young girl said I didn’t need it because my account is all good! I like many used to go to Rite Aid until they closed recently. Because they are close I switched my prescriptions to this new pharmacy. I was surprised the first time I filled prescriptions that they cost quite a bit more than Rite Aide. The pharmacist was able to give me a cash price and save me money over what my prescriptions would cost me had I used my insurance. He explained that this is happening to some people who switched.
