This isn’t my usual Almond bar I frequent but I was in Polo Park and said what the heck. I won’t be returning here. Had a mani with magic nail polish. The technician was heavy handed with the nail filing over my nail beds. Used a file with the wrong grit…it thinned my nails out so much that every time I put my hand under the UV lamp I felt strong burning sensations. I called over the phone to book an appointment. Asked for acrylics and said they didn’t have those but they do have magic polish. Didn’t explain to me what that was at all. So we show up, and realize it’s not what we want. They charged us $400 to cancel our reservation. We got no service, and the customer service was horrible. Don’t go here

Unfortunately to cancel the service you really have to call 24hrs upon your visit to avoid charges even though they still make money they charge you

Booked for nail extensions and pedi Came ahead of time and the receptionist said I still have 15mins waiting time. So, I sat down and waited past 20mins. Then, I approached the girl how much longer should I be waiting. She gave me an attitude. Finally, the nail technician gets me and unfortunately upon assessing my nails and all she said she can only do my because it’s gel fill whatever. The nail extensions started lifting within a few days, which is unusual compared to previous experiences I've had at other salons. Additionally, the technician seemed rushed, and the finish wasn't as smooth or professional as I expected. For the price, I hoped for a much better outcome.
