Not as nice inside as other Almond Nail Bars but it was clearly another nail bar and only recently reopened as Almond. The finished manicure itself was good, but it was not a particularly nice experience. They seem to use a nail drill for everything, which was quite uncomfortable.
Very disappointing experience with the newest location on Portage Avenue west. Have been to other Almond Nail Bars many times and this location is nothing like the others. Obviously an old nail salon that slapped up an Almond Nail Bar sign. Very old, dated and not the typical quality experience you expect with almond. This location has horrible ventilation and reeked of fumes. Techs were good however the experience makes question the requirements that Almond has for their franchisees
They were just a bit overbooked that day and they called me to come early then we’re not ready. Magic gel lasts a long time though.
