I have known the Noshie family since 1968 when the store was on Fannin Street, then the location in the tunnel under the Tenneco Building and now in the Rice Village. Ziad made my first wedding ring years ago and for my anniversary made a second wedding ring. He also made my husband's wedding band and many pieces of jewelry for me and my family. Every piece is outstanding and gorgeous! The workmanship and attention to detail is unmatched. When you become a customer at Almaza, you become a friend of the Noshie family.

I happen to go into Starbucks often which is a couple businesses down from Almaza. I had always window shopped waiting for the day to start. I've known this special family since the early 80's. I purchased a very unusual gold choker from his store in the tunnel in downtown Houston. He has since created several pieces for myself and my family. He and Lydia supported me and my family during times of hardship. They are the kindest. Ziad's work is beyond incredible. Five stars aren't enough for this wonderful business and this family.
