My mom spent close to five years at Alma’s Home Care and during that time the caregivers became like family to us. My mom was always up, dressed nicely and interacting with others as best she could. Safety and nutrition were important to the staff. I visited weekly and I never had any concerns that she was not being cared for in a loving and caring manner.
We will always be grateful to God for the love & care that my Mama received at Alma's Care Home. Due to circumstances beyond our control, it became necessary to find a place for her. My husband was given a list of Adult Care Homes in town, and he chose 3 to visit. He was quite impressed with Alma's in that it had a homier atmosphere, and the other places were too sterile and impersonal. It also helped that Spanish was spoken. This was his top choice. My mom came to Alma's per the recommendation of friends. I have never been so grateful for a recommendation! Alma and all of her staff treated my Mom with the dignity and respect all older adults deserve. She ate better than she had in years with every aspect of her nutritional health carefully monitored.
