The good: Mental health nurse Shola was wonderful and all the other medical staff I dealt with. The bad: They can't be bothered to let you know if they cancel your phone appointment. And there's no way of contacting them except over the phone.
E-consult not working. Calling contact number takes eons to be answered. If you are trying to call in the afternoon, staff training ("lunch break") from 1-4 pm. Call back the next day instead.
Looking at the reviews I do share people’s frustration with e consult and the difficulties getting an appointment with your GP. However, I visited the urgent treatment centre at the RSH recently with a skin infection ( it was a Sunday ) They were great, gave me antibiotics and made all the relevant notes on my NHS health record ( which you can view on the NHS app ) unfortunately although the symptoms had improved, there was still some pain. I've been with this practice since childhood and have always recieved excellent care. Dr Ord-Hume in particular is exceptional but the other partners and nurses are also attentive, professional and caring. Like a previous review if I could have given more stars I would have.
