One of the best food experiences I’ve had in Denver. Every plate was its own experience. Will be back soon. It’s now on our rotation of restaurants to take friends.
This place was such a great surprise! The food was even better than expected, especially the Frijoles Puercos, Birria de Borrego, and the refreshing avocado margaritas. Every dish had amazing flavor and was clearly made with care. Caroline and Leah really made the visit stand out with their warm, friendly, and attentive service. They made us feel welcome from start to finish. We had an unforgettable experience and are already looking forward to coming back again.
Best food I’ve had in Denver. The flavors aren’t toned down for the Denver demographic. The spice and salt I’ve been looking for is there. A lot of the criticism is that some of the food is salty which I find a good thing as it shows the authenticity. I sat at the counter. It was my first Michelin Star restaurant so it was very cool to see the prep work. The host was sweet. The Camote was not to my taste so he comped it. That dish doesn’t overshadow the rest of my experience.
Tasty dishes, definitely worth trying! Low key decor but food makes up for it.
