Absolutely worst banking system ever! They’ve locked my account and have held my money hostage for over a week now. Every time I call they say a step was missed in my request to close my account. Why they feel like they can keep people from their hard earned money… beyond me. Do not open an account with them. Do better Ally!
Ally Bank uses CENLAR for their servicer. This is the worst mortgage servicer in the country. I would never have refinanced with Ally Bank if I knew they used this sleazy company. I paid my mortgage from 2 different checking accounts. They would no accept it even though it was above the minimum and I have never been late. I filed complaints with Feds and state of CA. I have been trying to refinance my vehicle for over 2 MONTHS. My new bank sent a check out after they called for my 10 day pay off and ally sent it back with no explanation so my new bank sent it back to ally then ally sent it to my house saying the check wasn’t the right amount because they add interest every damn day.
