The worst bank to do business with. If you like to send money to complete strangers and then talk to an offshore representative youre in luck with this banking system because they will do that for you and more. They will take your cashiers check for $16,429.00 sent priority mail and tell you they haven't received it until you provide tracking numbers. Then they will accept your check and not post it to your account for over a full week, all while your credit account builds interest of over $10 per day as well as late fees.
Zero stars if I could!! I have (had) a checking account with them. They intermittently and randomly deny charges. Then when I call to verify the charge they tell me they can’t reverse it because it has been flagged by the security team. Completely unreliable! I even had them deny regular charges from automatic withdrawals for bill payments causing me to get charged for denied automatic payments! Predatory bank that will not let you transfer money out to another bank. My mother had multiple accounts with Ally and when she passed away, they refused to believe that she had passed. I tried to transfer the money out to another bank, but the required form is so complicated, even my financial planner (who has 30+ years of experience) has no idea how to fill it out.
I’ve had my account for a little less than a year. Never had any issues making deposits into the account. Decided to try making a withdrawal to test it out just in case I needed it in the future quickly!!!!!! It started on OCt 5, still trying to add an account!! Absolutely ridiculous and the customer service is the worst. They keep stalling! I’m closing this down right now!!! No way will I continue to struggle to get access to my own money
