In terms of what else is on offer on the island, This is about par with everywhere else. Yes it needs maintenance, proper not handyman fixes in some spots, but location close to the beach means rust and wear. The pool is good, location fair, and the lady who greeted us seemed friendly, explained the location and provided a map etc. The bus stops right across the road too, so probably a massive plus if your visiting straddie without a car.
