Paid for a king room, got two lumpy singles pushed together, tiny window, noisy aircon, garbage pillows. Would not recommend unless you don't like sleep.

Good value for the room, clean and simple. Would’ve been a good stay for one night but the power went out at 4am and did not come back on by the time we checked out at 8:30am. They also broadcasted a very loud announcement about the power being off at around 5:30am, further disrupting sleep. Really odd for a hotel of that size to not have back up generators to keep power on, especially in a place like Townsville that gets so hot. Could pose as a health hazard if they can’t get power back up and running.

Stayed here for a week while visiting mates here in Townsville. Check in was quick and easy. Room had working air-conditioning and ceiling fan. And a tv with 300 working channels. The accommodation has a pool and a gym also a cafe down stairs. Location is great 2 pubs next door and a corner shop up the road. There is also a car a d passenger ferry for maggie Island about 5min walk up the road.
