Just keep driving to the next stop. I stopped at this rest stop on the way to MA to pick up a Gatorade, price scanned incorrectly and the employee was unwilling to correct. See photos for price advertised of $2.69, receipt charged me $2.89, employee had no authority to change and had no manager to correct. Unfortunately people at a rest stop don’t have time to argue with an employee over $.20, but they are illegally overcharging multiple people everyday and the CT consumer pricing law says I should get this for free. I purchased a cold brew coffee for $3.59. I went up and paid for the coffee, and was not offered a receipt. When I stepped back so another customer could be served, I reviewed the charges on my phone and found that I had been charged twice, two different charges ($3.59 and $3.64). When I went back up to clear up the 2nd charge, the employee behind the counter argued with me.
