Adding to the pile of terrible customer service reviews here. Been with Allstate for the past 5 years as they USED to be competitively priced, over the last 8 months I have seen rate increases across home and auto in excess of 40% with no changes to my policy nor any claims or tickets, explanation I am given is "well things are more expensive for us, so..". Terrible customer service. I had an accident and trying to contact them but after every hour of wait time my call is getting disconnected. At the end I reported my claim using the app and I haven’t heard back from anyone so far. It is the worst insurance company. If I go to the option of getting new insurance on the phone they pick up the call right away. Not happy at all with their service.

I STILL HAVE NOT heard back from any agent. Does anyone even work there? This is absolutely ridiculous. June 8th 2024 was the day I started my incredibly annoying journey of trying to get a hold of an agent. It is now August 12th. I have sold one of my vehicles on my policy.
