Bait and switch... 2 years ago they offered competitive rates to lock me in. Last year the renewal increased nearly 20% on homeowners. Admittedly, I was lazy and did not switch even though I shopped the rate and was able to find a policy from a competitor where the premium was priced according to the original rate I was given a year ago. So, fast forward to this year and they've done it again! My renewal proposal has increased nearly another 20%!
