I had a hail claim, my estimate for repairs was almost 6,000 and the gave me 1200 to settle it. So needless to say I can’t even get my car repaired. In my opinion it’s one of the insurance companies out there.
Recommended $300k of insurance on our $800k house, presumably to make his quote artificially low? Is either uninformed or dishonest, neither of which is acceptable
Allstate, in general, sucks. If you live in the mountains, they might insure you, but will cancel after inspection with a giant list of things they need you to do, and even if you do them, they will still cancel due to fire risk. They were the cheapest, but don't go there
WARNING! This agent writes policies to get his numbers up and then lets the underwriting inspection findings cancel the policy. It looks great in the beginning - then they ghost you - STAY AWAY!
They were responsive and worked with me to get the best coverage for the most reasonable premium. I have never had to make a claim.
