I recently bought a vehicle by private sale. I wanted to make sure that the vehicle was insured as soon as I picked it up. Michelle's office told me that they couldn't add the vehicle to my insurance until I could provide the registration in my name, which was going to take some number of days to process through DMV since I wasn't buying from a dealer.
