Jen was extremely helpful during our hunt for new homeowners insurance. Professional, punctual, and a great sense of humor.
Make sure you review the documents she's making you sign. Added full coverage insurance for a vehicle we haven't owned in years to our home insurance when all we wanted was a quote on a liability only vehicle to see if there was a discount benefit. So not only did we end up paying FULL COVERAGE insurance on a vehicle that we haven't owned in years, we double paid on insurance for another vehicle. Our agent is Jen. She was always available to answer questions and extremely helpful. Very organized and a pleasure to work with. She made a stressful situation of getting new insurance, after 30 years with our previous company, easy to transition to.
If I followed Marcy's recommendation in her poorly generated mailer I would be horrifically underinsured. My house burned down (notice that the photo shows a house under construction) so I know exactly how much insurance coverage I need to be safe. Clearly Marcy has no idea
Filed a claim for broken pipe that flooded my downstairs basement- they denied claim and basically called me a liar saying damage was caused by wear and tear and not having a bathroom fan. Also trying to charge me for mitigation that I told them would not be needed as damages happened 2 weeks prior- all of this is on top of my rates going up over 3,000 dollars in the last 3 years with no claims filed- beware of Allstate- if something major were to happen will they cover it or find excuses?
