I'm a little disappointed with this agency so far. I switched from State Farm about 6 months ago. The rates and coverage are better. My husband had a small fender bender and after chatting with an online agent I learned about accident forgiveness for the first time which I did not have on my plan. When I asked the agent how much more it costs to add that coverage it was only a few dollars a month. So for a few dollars extra a month could have saved us from rate increases due to the accident. They made it easy to do business with them.
I switched from Statefarm to Allstate to get a lower rate. I got a little lower rate than with Statefarm and now I received a letter stating my home owners ins is increased by $576.40. I've only been with Allstate for two months! That's more than I was paying with Statefarm. And by the way, Statefarm has earthquake ins included with their poloces, Allstae does NOT. They sent me mailing advertising and claimed they couldn't remove me from their corporate mailing list. They gave me a number and when I called it, after 15 min I got rerouted to an offshore calling center that required more information about me to stop advertising to me. Ridiculous.
We've been with the Jim Woods/Kelly Goza agency since the late 1980s. They have taken excellent care of us and our cars at a price we can afford. I know whose voice to expect on the phone and I'm not afraid to call and ask questions or discuss any problems. They make it easy.
