How nice! Typical Insurance double talk. Or Ripoff, depending on your outlook. We filed a claim on our backyard fence damage by wind. Four panels down, wide enough for neighborhood Tweakers and Scavengers to steal anything transportable. Our insurance agent was happy to set us up with the claims department and wash their hands. Claims department calls Sis andgives her a figure of $1341 damage. Oh but she must prepay the deductible of $1000 before she can get the balance of $341 (which will barely pay for 1 of the 4 panels). ... read more
