Over the years it's become hard to reach Eric with questions. He is only available by phone when he is in the office for maybe a 2-3 hour window in the morning each day... And because of that, email replies from him are super delayed too. It's confusing on how to reach the agency office assigned to your policy when the agency's owner is rarely in the office and or available by phone/email. I was customer for one year and had issues from day one. I was quoted a price for a Homeowner's policy and after a few months of paying an Allstate inspector came out to look at my house. For some reason they were overvaluing my house by many thousands and my policy rate increased dramatically. Eric weas able to get my premium down but still way more than the original quoted price. My homeowners insurance policy increased about $250 from year 2023 to year 2024. When I inquired about the rise in price for my yearly policy I was told it was due to all the natural disasters on the coast. Even though I hadn’t made a claim during the entire year I’m having to pay more. This is one reason I left my last home insurance company. Allstate had the same policy for my house last year 2023 almost $300 less than my previous. Now it seems Allstate is following the same practice.
