Treated like an idiot – If you are a Hispanic, like I am, don't be surprised if the guy that sells you the tickets treats you like you are slow, the way I was treated. I can tell you this because there was a white man in front of us and he was treated very nicely, but as soon as I stepped forward this guy, the sales guy, changed his tone and started talking to me as if I didn't understood English without me saying a word. Even after I spoke to him in English he continued to talk to me the same way. What an IDIOT. I don't und... read more

There's little to get attached to about this relatively new, characterless, multi-purpose arena. – Overview Sure, it's rather unremarkable looking, but you're coming here to watch a game or a concert, not the building. Classic rock acts such as the Who, Pink Floyd and Bruce Springsteen have appeared here. Allstate Arena continues to host rock, country and Latin performers such as Ozzy Osbourne, Keith Urban, Foo Fighters, Hannah Montana and more. DePaul's Blue Demons play home basketball games here. Allstate is home to Arena ... read more

Allstate Arena is breathtakingly unremarkable. – Chicagoans have always referred to their local arenas and baseball fields in reverential terms. Chicago Stadium was the lady on West Madison Street, home to Bobby Hull and Michael Jordan. Old Comiskey Park was the "Baseball Palace of the World," providing the South Side with Disco Demolition Night and Andy the Clown. And Wrigley Field is spoken of in such cuddly, sugary tones that it hardly matters which players are on the Friendly Confines' diamond (well, let's not go that fa... read more

"Discomfort" Key Word – In a Word "MISERABLE" the seats are built to accomidate the average 6yr old or anyone who is less than 5' 4' & 110 lbs (By far NOT the fast majority of Adults). The parking cost is unbelievalbe, scalpers are literally knocking on your car window the moment you drive in. The sound is terrible, upper level is sweltering hot. Will NOT be going back!!

Not good – The reason why they get all the music tours at this boxy, uncomfortable monument to bad acoustics is because there's a tax on the venues further in that the acts don't want to pay. The walkways behind the seating are so poorly designed that many traffic jams result, but you'll never notice that at a minor league hockey game. They are pretty tight about the parking lot, so even if you're not doing anything it makes you feel uncomfortable. Only go to the show here if there's no alternative.

Not bad for sports – As home for the Wolves, Allstate Arena does just fine -- nice and loud. Same for the circus. After all, this place is a virtual barn. That kind of atmosphere means trouble for music, but sports events go just fine here. The outside has been fancied up a bit from the days as the Rosemont Horizon, but it's still the same old place inside. The parking lot is OK, but $11 seems pretty steep.
