Delicious food with inventive cocktails
Allsopp & Chapple, I came expecting an elevated dining experience. What I received was a reminder that a beautiful room does not automatically create exceptional hospitality. I sat at the bar, was prepared to enjoy my meal, and immediately noticed a difference in the level of attention given to me versus other guests who arrived after me. Started out with an amazing cocktail and things just continued to get better and better. The roasted honey garlic soup was to die for. The toasted bread with basil pesto sauce I can’t even explain how wonderful it tasted. Next we went with the coffee infused filet and I’m not able to fully describe how delicious it was!! Our waitress Aliscia was great and made spot on drink recommendations! This will definitely stay on our places to go for a superb meal!!
I travel with work. Often, I sit at the bar because I can be seated quickly. I hope for a bartender who is kind, engaged, and interested in making the meal memorable. Tonight was a rare occurrence. If you want to experience a lovely meal and engaging experience, sit at the bar and hope you are served by the young man from Austria! Didn't even get his name, but his thoughtfulness and resourcefulness made for a wonderful meal! Others in the restaurant business including owners could learn from him.
