BEWARE! Started off great and has turned into a nightmare. Hot water tank flooded my basement. Had to sign their paperwork which allows them to begin work. They stated they would work with my insurance company. I was later told that insurance would be good. Allphase submitted their bill to my insurance and insurance stated that certain fees are excessive and beyond industry standards and that the bill was beyond what should have been charged. Update! After the company became aware of my extreme dissatisfaction with the billing errors that were made, they reached out to me to resolve the billing mistakes. They were very professional about it and agreed that I do not owe them anything for the work that was never performed that the large bill was supposed to have been only an estimate not a bill. Two stars for the people that came out as they were great communicators and workers.. 0 stars for the company. Charged us $6000 for what I counted as approximately 12 hours of work. Vacuumed water out of the carpet (1 hour). Took out a wet couch (20 mins). No stud damage/flood cutting needed. Removed damaged baseboards (3 hours). Put down some antimicrobial spray to help with smell (1 hour). Placed 2 dehumidifiers for 24 hours and 8 fans for 24 hours (3 hours). Came back to get equipment (3 hours). That’s it. $6000 bill. Overall, I’m disappointed in Allphase. The mitigation side of it was fine. Our water heater busted and flooded the basement back in August! Mitigation happened within 72 hours. The basement reconstruction didn’t get complete until early February. We had to have floors replaced, some minor drywall work, new baseboard and trim, and repainting. Communication was sporadic and unclear. Zack was my point of contact and I felt he told me what I needed to hear to secure the job. But ultimately didn’t deliver. The baseboard wood was ... read more
