We booked Studios on King mainly for its excellent location, right in the heart of Newcastle and within walking distance to popular beaches, cafes, bars and local attractions. Unfortunately, the rest of our stay was disappointing. The room did not feel clean and there was a strong musty smell when we first arrived. The bathroom also had an unpleasant drain smell the first time we used the shower. Because of the humidity and the smell we ended up keeping the air conditioning on most of the time, which wasn’t ideal. Overall, t... read more
