Absolutely awful experience. We booked 3 rooms, and every single one had major issues. One reeked of cigarette smoke, another had graffiti on the door and the third flooded during a quick 3-minute shower — the water went straight into the bedroom. All rooms had cockroaches. One bed had red marks on sheets...still unsure what it actually was. Rooms are absolutely filthy they have black mold in the bathroom and green mold growing on the bricks in side the rooms the carpets are filthy with stains everywhere and the stench coming from the carpets is unbelievable I asked other stayers how there rooms were and they said it’s the same in all of the rooms the rooms might be cheap but this place needs to be shut down immediately I rang the manger and they told me that this what you get if I don’t like find somewhere else didn’t realise I paid for a moldy room

Came up for a hockey tournament and stayed over a week. I booked early in the year for the hanbury lodge, I was called and then moved to the tudor lodge and was told it's like for like. How wrong they were, there are no cooking facilities, only a microwave, but one could tell me when the tudor inn actually had in the ways of facilities. I called and asked to get a balcony and was told i could have one. When I checked in I found no balcony. The place was dirty with dirty at the bottom of the fridge. As an overnight stop on a business trip it fits the bill. Suits the single travellers or a couple. Close to pub, food etc. quiet enough too.
