Don't try another company until you try this one. The days of 45 minutes on the phone with customer service are over. I have only had to call customer service at Allo one time in years, and the fix took about 10 minutes. I just needed to restart the box. Really didn't need to call for that but thought I better ask as I never have issues with Internet! Great job Allo!

Allo is a terrible ISP. Speed itself is ok, but Allo's network ping, jitter and buffer bloat are atrocious. I also do not like the fact that they are affiliated with Nelnet and UBT which are KNOWN to be predatory banking institutions. Additionally, I cancelled my service and the prorated refund for the unused portion of the month was NOT automatic. If you are owed less than $5 you must request it from Allo. Very shady. Decent internet but overpriced. A lot of bog down or buffering time during peak ours and mid evening. Switched from mid package to lowest only to have my bill raised 20% without any notice. 2 years later they've raised my bill another $15 for the same package, no warning. Spoke to customer service and they said I was grandfathered into the old price but they couldn't explain why my bill went up $20. Cancelled my service.
