Completely predatory – avoid at all costs. Allmand had us sign two leases so that they didn't have to comply with the Right to Renew statute the Ann Arbor city government passed. Because of this, they were able to lease our apartments out from under us without any adequate notice.

They're currently running a facebook housing group that they sometimes post an ad to, but besides that they leave the group free to scammers. Almost every post is a scam post, and the few legit posts have dozens of scam replies. Seems like a good indication of how they treat their customers, by leaving a group like this out and enabling scammers. Not sure what is worse, the disregard for the safety of others or the incompetence here.
