We came in because we saw a 4.9 rating. We ordered the sea bream and the sirloin. The fish was dry and rice overcooked, and the sirloin was actually not sirloin, the meat was hard and chewy. Upon asking the waitress she apologized and said they had a problem with the butcher and they would take the meat back and not charge us. But they had tried to give us a piece of meat that was not sirloin! Finally we got the caramelized bread pudding as dessert and it was totally black burned and bitter, not caramelized. Upstairs restaurant with tables set around a large space with the bar at one end and overlooking the Market Square at the other. Enjoyed our three courses although the unusual ice creams were not that special. Pleasant and efficient young staff. Happy to go again albeit on the expensive side.
Great food. Clean, delicious and innovative . A culinary gem in Salisbury
The food was superb, the flavour combination and balance was perfect. The quality of the produce was excellent and the fish was incredibly fresh.
