Had a great experience at Alliston Botanix today. I went in with a few vegetable plants in mind and found exactly what I needed—with the help of knowledgeable and friendly staff. What really stood out was how they took the time to recommend other plant varieties and gave great planting advice along the way. Decent variety of products, and helpful employee brought 2 potted plants to our vehicle .... But the woman I dealt with at the cash was arrogant and frankly rude! I was also told that my prepaid Vanilla MasterCard would be charged the full $100 it had instead of the $75 of my actual purchase. I've been using these cards for years and I've NEVER heard this, so I'm calling BS there. Generally I want to support iCal business, but I won't be back and I definitely won't recommend. Always excellent quality and recommendations from staff and owners here. Knowledgeable, professional, and reasonably priced. I've been shopping here for years and years. When there was an issue with the Magnolia I bought for my Father's birthday, they solved it, no problem, and no questions asked!
