Ms. Allison is an absolute doll. My 11yr old son needed some help with his S and TH sounds. He is a very silly boy who sometimes needs some focus encouragement and someone to also engage in his silliness. She makes her lessons fun with hands on games as well as customizing each session as she goes based on what she learns of your child, their needs, progress and personality. I was referred to Allison by my ENT Doctor. I have a polyp on my vocal cord, which was causing my voice to sound extremely weak and scratchy with no voice projection ability. Allison began working with me to develop a program of daily voice exercises which, to my pleasant surprise were really effective in regaining my voice. Alison worked incredibly well with my son, really helped him improved his speech. He enjoyed going to their sessions. Not only did his speech improve but he gained a lot of self confidence because of the positive feedback Allison was giving him.

Allison's approach to treating the patient according to their needs, is what's missing in alot of medical practices today. The old saying "what might be good for one, might not be good for another" is true in many ways, even more so when it comes to therapy. Allison has figured that out and I'm glad I've had the opportunity to work with her.
