WOW! The woman on the phone for Intensive outpatient was INCREDIBLY rude. Doesn't make it welcoming for someone who needs ongoing treatment when they just need support (and it starts with the person who sets them up on the phone) . I do not usually post reviews like this but that was very unprofessional. Sighing on the phone and cutting the client off, having a snappy attitude.. and then putting them on hold just to put someone else on the phone. Came her as a patient for the partial hospitalization program and day treatment. While I enjoyed having the friends I met there, the staff are disgusting. As much as they advocate for helping you with any mental health issues, they're pretty useless when it comes to people genuinely having a mental health crisis, but are in their program. Staff refuse to listen to you, will not comfort you, will give you suggestions that don't make sense and if you try to talk about how ridiculous the circumstances are, they're fine shipping... read more
My mom was told she couldn't enter into rehab from detox as her memory issues from years of alcohol abuse probably meant she wouldn't get anything out of it. That's what her therapist told me. She was in DETOX...hadn't even been given a chance at rehab. She was 6 days sober at the end of her detox stay. That's it! 6 days after 20+ years of daily alcohol use. She went there with health issues from addiction, which is COMMON amongst addicts. She was trying the best she could to be present given her memory limitations and deeme... read more
