I had a professional and positive experience at my appointment. I’m nervous for the bill, but I understand that’s a larger problem about our nation’s health insurance system.
They called me within 30 minutes to say they found something they needed to get a better look at. They wanted to see me the next day! I assumed this was a new finding and was concerned. After a biopsy and a $4600 bill I finally talked to a doctor who told me that this has been on all my previous images and it was nothing to worry about. They really must have needed to make money and scare people in the process.
I had a scheduled appointment at 4:00 PM and arrived 20 minutes early. Between 4:00 and 4:30, most of the staff began leaving for the day. Several employees walked right past me as I sat there holding my paperwork, and not one person questioned why I was still waiting. Even the front desk staff started packing up while I was still sitting in the lobby. Dr Baker, Nurse Navigator Jessica and the rest of the staff were professional, knowledgeable, and caring at all times.
I am at the cancer center weekly for testing and treatment, the ladies have been very warm and caring. We are very grateful!
