We chose Allied to move all of our stuff to our new home, 1000 miles away. We liked that they came to our house and did an inventory ahead of time so that we had a set price and didn't have any last minute additions. They were flexible with setting our final moving dates, depending on the closing of our house. Jose and his crew did a great job packing our stuff, driving it across the country, and then unloading it. Goods were delivered when promised. Movers were helpful and courteous. All items, including two glass table tops, arrived in good condition.
MUST READ! This company is a fraud. Once you sign that contract forget about what you were told or thought you knew. First, note that the quote they give you is a gross underestimate. When I had the relocation consultant come out to look at all my belongings and give me a quote, he stated the quote could go up or down "up to 10%." A couple days after my quote, he informed me they had to raise the price $500 because it was their busy season. My quote went from about 5,500 to 6k.
