Dr. Prendergast has been one of the worst and most careless doctors I’ve experienced in my life. He most notably horridly messed up one of my surgeries. When I came in to tell him how horribly I was feeling (fever, shortness of breath, intense pain) he told me in a very condescending tone that I “looked fine” and should just go home and rest. I am an old-school nurse of more than 44 years of experience. My husband learned he was in need of a Urologist in July 2017 and we began researching providers. We saw that Dr. Prendergast seemed to be a skilled and esteemed surgeon. We were not put off by the negative comments about his bedside manner in lieu of his skills as a surgeon. I'd recommend Dr Prendergast without hesitation to my family and friends. (I'm a registered nurse, with over 20 years of experience) He is thorough, takes time to listen to symptoms and explain tests, and is very knowledgeable. He may not give loads of warm fuzzies, but I appreciate his matter of fact style.

Best Urologist in Louisville if not in the whole state. Got me through a duel kidney failure, and 16 years later I am still healthy.
