If you own a business, I would NOT recommend Allied Refrigeration in Lorain (owner: Jim). I paid around $5,000 for work on my walk-in, and shortly after all my refrigerant leaked out because of a rusty valve that should’ve been caught and addressed the first time. Instead, it failed and I got hit with another $600 bill for 3.5 hours just to change a fitting/valve and refill Freon. Jim is very friendly and pleasant to work with. He was able to rework his busy schedule to make an urgent service call the same day. He understands the loss of refrigeration to a business is detrimental. Was able to quickly diagnose the problem and get unit back and running. His rates do not cost you an arm and a leg and his work shows that he appreciates the work he is doing.
