Apparently, one can’t zone out without their cognitive abilities being questioned. Expecting patients to open up before they’re ready is very unprofessional.

Therapist asked me to dig into my feelings about a friend's suicide which I am still grieving. After being prompted to disclose very private and still raw feelings about this traumatic memory, she went on to tell me that her supervisor has decided that I'm too much of a "risky case" and that she won't be able to make further appointments with me.
