I Purchased travel insurance, through Allianz, for a rental car in Oslo Norway. I filled claim for a cracked windshield. I provided all documentation quickly, but they kept adding more stuff needed. I spent hours on phone with Allianz and Alamo. Alamo, being located in Oslo Norway and I am home now in the US. it's difficult. After about 6-8 weeks they asking for pictures of License plate, Vin Number, mileage, which I can not provide since after we already left Norway. They just don't want to pay the claim. Allianz helped us get a $474 refund back after my brother went into the hospital for emergency surgery. Something American Airlines wouldn't do. Working with Allianz was simple and clear. Really thankful I purchased the travel insurance and will continue to do so! Thank you Allianz!!
