Allianz assistance is a total waste of & money my husband & I bought ins for a concert we were going to through this Co. we found out we had to cancel due to surgery I have to have with weeks of recovery but in order to receive our money back they want the doctor to give personal information on my condition which we where not willing to do I asked if a letter just stating date and place of surgery but they refused that so we are not out our money of the concert. Please do not use this company we will not be using it
During my recent visit to Quebec, Canada, June 20, 2025, I unfortunately sustained an injury. Thankfully, I had the foresight to purchase travel insurance, as one never knows what might occur. I have been utilizing Allianz for my travels since 2019, and this was my inaugural claim. The process has been satisfactory thus far, and I sincerely hope that the CHU university hospital in Quebec will not send me any further invoices . Im doing my recovering so well
Wow, this place is. A total waste of time and money, really offering no protection in case of an event cancellation etc. I'm out of $600 after over a week of them. Having 27 documents that I submitted then I sent them an email to Check-in with them to see if they could hurry up a little bit but politely. Save your money. They only cover things that happen on rare occasions but don't cover issues that are more than likely to occur. This is on purpose Im sure, to collect money under false pretenses of you being secured only to deny you later. I won't waste my time or money again with them. Lesson learned. Purchased for sports tickets that can no longer be used because i'm required to work, paid the extra money and now i'm not only out the ticket money but the money I wasted on the insurance in an attempt to be responsible. When I reported the damage, I noted several times that the credit should be made by bank transfer - and not by cheque. It is impossible to cash a physical cheque in Switzerland. Nevertheless, I received a cheque. When I subsequently contacted allianz again, asking them to cancel the cheque and transfer the money to me, I never received a reply.
