I have had nothing but a positive experience with Alliance Mutual. Even after the derecho. I saw so many people have terrible experiences and I felt like someone really had my back.
It was a bit of a bumpy start after the derecho. From what I understand, Alliance Mutual didn’t have enough in-house adjusters to deal with the influx of claims, which made sense. We were patient because we didn’t have any damage that made our house unlivable. In the end, everyone we worked with at this company was amazing. They really took care of us. Our family was affected by the derecho storm in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on 8/10/20 and the Insurance Adjuster has still not arrived. No one has called to give me an idea on when they will arrive so I took it upon myself to find out. After calling the main office they gave me contact information for the adjuster who I had to call. After contacting him he explained that he will show up to review on 9/7/20, which is just shy of 4 weeks after the storm hit.
