The techs are inconsistent here. A year ago, I had an MRI on my neck and was able to leave my titanium earring in as long as it didn’t pull towards the hand magnet they have. It didn’t, so they had no issue putting me in the machine. I had no issues during or after the procedure. Move forward to a few months ago and I made an appointment for a new MRI on my back. For the second time they have changed my schedule when calling me to come in sooner. I said yes, they call back later and said oops, we have to move you back to the original date and at a later time!! Terrible communication between these folks and scheduling!!
Positive, they were able to get me in quickly for an mri that I needed desperately. Negative, the front desk receptionist was so rude. I walked in, and she tried to tell my husband to walk away. I said no thanks, I would rather him stay with me (for medical reasons, and so he can know what’s going on as well) and she kept saying it was for privacy. But I was the only patient? He’s my husband, as I told her. I have a right to keep him with me until it’s time for the scan. There’s no reason for “privacy”. Also, they absolutely... read more
