I wentwith Alliance Contracting because they were a local business, and it was a great call! Our basement would get big puddles and we would have to squeegee the water to the sump crock. They were up front on their estimate, and having another contractor in for estimates, Alliance was my decision. The crew showed up in a timely way and got to work immediately. Recently had basement waterproofing system and new sump pump install done. The entire process was smooth and informative. Scheduled a free estimate and had the owner out within a few days. At that time the entire process was explained, including cleanup, what to expect before/during/after, price range. A plus is they were right on schedule from the start. The estimates are not free as advertised on the website. There is a $250 fee that is charged due to a high volume of requests for basement repair estimates where the assessment is primarily used for buyer/seller negotiations. Edit to follow up since I received a complaint email response from Dan: Stop assuming that people are utilizing estimates for negotiation without asking them what they need an estimate for.
