Alliance Cancer Center has been excellent!
I am writing on behalf of a family member. After waiting for an appointment and a long drive up there we left very disappointed. My family member felt very discouraged when we were leaving and that was heartbreaking to see. We also felt rushed like the provider couldn't wait to get out of the room. No physical exam was done by the provider. No future care was scheduled. We wanted to go over blood work test results completely and that didn't happen. I have been with Grandview Alliance Cancer Center for five years now. I have Dr. Spears and I love him. He’s not very emotional, but that’s his personality. I don’t want a doctor that “babies” me. He’s always friendly and caring and explains anything I ask and answers all my questions, even drawing diagrams with his own hand. Everybody’s cancer is different, and you can’t blame a doctor if treatments do not work. All we can do is move forward one day at a time, and move onto the next treatment, until there are no more.
