The job was done as expected and the issue was fixed — that's why I'm giving 3 stars. However, the customer service side of things was quite disappointing. I booked an appointment two weeks in advance (after being told there was availability) to replace a broken part — a relatively simple job — and I provided the part myself. After having startup issues with our Hiace just outside of Warmun and getting a battery jump from a random passerby, our confidence in our vehicle was very low as we drove to Kununurra. We made it to the town on Sunday evening and knew that likely every mechanic was busy to the gills with pre-booked work and we would be sitting ducks until it was our turn. Absolutely the best service. Brent was efficient, honest and very helpful and very quick. He went above and beyond to repair the alternator. We nursed the Troopie to Kununurra on a Friday morning not knowing what the issue was or when we could get fixed and back on the road for our holiday. After my husband dropped me at the hospital as I was ill, he went to two auto electricians both confirming the same prognosis. Everyone was going to be 4 days before they could even look at it.
