Alleviate was a nightmare to work with. They settled one out of three of the accounts I enrolled with & after their fees I was paying more than the original debt. They let one of the accounts I enrolled get so far behind I started being sued and their legal team was no help at all. Even though I was paying monthly for the legal service. Didn’t do anymore than I could have with the IRS for $10000. Made sure they got they’re money up front. Similar tactics to the eliminate your Time Share programs. Hard to reach and great rationalization speech. No discount or partial refund. Consult the IRS before you hire these type of services. No you’re the correct company alright. I have the contract to prove it. Nice try though.
This is a scam. Have had nothing but problems since I signed up. Don’t go with them. They can’t even do something as simple as change my address correctly. I sent in all the money to pay off the rest of my debt and they won’t get that done and they still keep trying to pull more money even though I have sent all the money to pay it all off! Absolutely the worst mistake going this route. Don’t do it!!!
Problems with the entire end-to-end experience. Save yourself the time, frustration, and money by negotiating directly with your creditors instead. Many of the fees are not clearly disclosed upfront, and I found errors where payments I made were not accurately reflected in my account history. The lack of transparency and inaccurate payment records are unacceptable. This company should be reported and held accountable for its business practices.
