UPDATED 2/20/24 Alleva was responsive to our concerns. Mike Alleva listened to suggestions that would have prevented our ordeal, which we are willing to attribute to a labor shortage common in many industries. However, with high turnover, check-ins with new project managers and their customers are essential and would have made a big difference for us. We believe in second chances. We did not have a “glowing" experience with Alleva. We contracted for bathroom, linen closet and walk-in closet to be finished in 6-8 weeks. Demolition started in April and was completed in September. Project Manager#1 was inexperienced or incompetent, particularly with organization. Crews showed up only two or three times a week, rarely for a full day. We were told to expect workers and they did not show up or showed up very late, as if our project was an afterthought.
