As a child, my family always went to Decks for hardware needs, now grown and in my later years I still find everything I need at Decks, I would go there before traveling to a chain hardware store. The staff at Decks are always courteous and helpful, and I always find what I am looking for. I like the idea of just being able to buy one screw if thats all I need!I love just roaming around that wonderful old building.
This place is great. They have everything. They carry all the latest in home supplies, hardware and tools, but their specialty is having the hard-to-find or old-fashioned replacement part. The best thing about this place though is the fact that they have real experts who will give you advice on whatever job you are tackling. OK, I also like the fact that I feel like I have stepped back into Mayberry RFD circa1959 as soon as I walk through the door. If only Aunt Bee was thyere with some home-made corn muffins...
No body is as helpful as the guys at Deck's. They know their stuff and aren't afraid to show it. Deck's Hardware was one of the best hardware store experiences I have had in a long time. I rehab houses, so that's saying something. They are knowlegeable and helpful. NOt to mention they have everything you could need to rehab a house.
